Flat Stanley goes to Texas
Dale's nephew, Ryan, asked him to help with a class project.
"Flat Stanley" traveled from Ryan's 3rd grade class in Virginia to Denton,Texas.
Dale created a web presentation so the kids could "see" Stanley in Texas.

Hello, from Ryan Harris' uncle in Texas. My name is Dale.
A picture of my neighbors yard.
Sometimes I ride my bike to work. I ride along a very open area that has small lakes. Texas has lots of open area and lots of small lakes.

cows.
Some of them have long horns
but we didn't see any today.
Texas also has
lots of horses.
Some of them have been entered in races
and won lots of money.

Texas doesn't have many big trees. I miss seeing the big trees in Virginia. Texas has lots of small shrubs like these. |
